I build the whole thing. There is no handoff between a designer, a frontend and a backend, because it is the same person the whole way down — so nothing gets lost in translation, and there is no coordination overhead to bill for.

Most of the work is commerce and systems rather than brochure sites: headless storefronts that have to survive a drop, booking flows that take real money on the day, internal tools built around how a business already works. The part most freelancers decline — wiring your existing systems together — is usually the part worth doing.
